Well Well Well…to be honest I was a bit hesitant to make this move, especially after all the latest tragedy with my blog, but the temptation was too strong and hey…here we are looking all good!

I upgraded to wordpress 2.3.1 and it ran smoother than I expected.

I simply overwritten the files in my public_html folder, excluding wp-content which I have copied into rather than overwritten to maintain my theme and plugins, and excluding wp-config.php as well.

Then I ran the upgrade.php file which updated my dbase with no drama and voila! It really cannot be any easier.

What I like most about the new version is the integrated TAGS, plus pimping TinyMCE with an advanced bar that has a paste from word, format copier, style stripper, insert symbol, text color, underline, and UNDO / REDO buttons - so sexy indeed.

Go ahead and upgrade yours, it is really worth it, but first make sure to check your plugins compatibility.
