Nevermind the German name, and get ready to go back into a golden rock era that we all miss.
These guys combine talent with knowledge to entertain us with a final product of music that indulges some serious Rock lyrics and riffs, all the way from down under: Perth, Australia.
Their music is even much more interesting than their name, with a hit “To Endless Night” that is airing on hundreds of US and OZ radios, you can get the summary of what I am trying to convey; The first thought that will come to your mind is: “Man, it has been a while since I heard some really good new stuff”.
Zeitgeist is: Alex, Mat and Anthony, on guitars, vocals, and bass respectively and Stevo on drums.
Their mixed influences reflect on their music, keeping it hanging somewhere between Rock and Metal depending on which song is on your playlist, yet maintaining a very authentic sound.
I am so fond of their song structures and progressions, and how they emphasize melody, and take care of all the small details in a superb way.
The lyrics are serious and much in-place.
In my opinion, bands they sound like: Led Zeppelin, lynyrd Skynyrd, and Slayer - when they get pumped up.
