So here we go as promised!
In this part I am going to share some of my personal favorites rather than people’s.
Actually I got more excited to share this today because I had a recording session with my friends/bosses at work, where we finally recorded our Theme song. I will share it once it is finalized. A bunch of great people indeed.
All the ones I am sharing today are part of my last compilation actually, which were recorded early 2006 (Jan) before I moved to Dubai.
Valentine St Meditation
Weird name I know, however a long story behind it. Anyway, this was the result of a lonely Valentine day at home. This reflects my latest music trend where I started to get more into spiritual music / ethnic beats, with a touch of rock/metal ofcourse, I cannot help it that is where I come from.
Please Please Please
Very persistent as the name implies, this is a result of bad communication, when you actually try to communicate something to people but they do not get it, very common hey? The piece reflects how the feeling builds up, as the frustration builds up and reaches climax eventually. It is screaming “PLEASE UNDERSTAND”. My favorite part is towards the end. Could have used better recording for this one.
Through Hard Times
Need I say more? The name of this piece says it all. This represents just any bad phase you pass through, and how it progresses from one stage to the other, suspense at some parts, and anger at others, and almost giving up while you are at it.
It is quite interesting to notice how I started integrating more instruments into my music and experimenting more with the ranges. The piano might not be that great, and that is for a handful of reasons; I never learnt piano, I am a guitarist at origin which means I might structure songs in guitar thinking rather than piano progressions and techniques, and finally because I actually wrote the music, but a software played the piano for me, which means no much human control
Enjoy!

I liked the three peices but PPP (I took the liberty of shortening the name if you don’t mind) is the one that screamed at me “hey you, go grab your guitar”. Excuse me for now, I have to answer the call. You understand…

Haha first I thought you are referring to a network protocol dude, you know, we geeks!
Thanks for your feedback, well I understand because it is the only one that is 100% guitar on this page.
You might want to check My Music - Part1, the three pieces there are all guitar driven.
Cheers.

Kudos on a job well done. Impressive peices. Definitely a noticable improvement in the music. Best of luck in future pieces.

Thank you
I need lots of luck indeed, with yesterday as an exception, I have not touched instruments for almost 2 years now.

Through Hard Times - Wow, I thought the man can REALLY play good piano! But than I read the comment below…Nonetheless, me like : -)
and I can’t believe it’s the software playing that.

Thanks Eugene
It is good an bad, good when it actually plays all the notes you feed in to ti, and bad when it comes to human feeling control, you cannot really control the sensitivity of the keys or the volume of each stroke…
Yet, I do love that software
It works great for guitarists.
